The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Xhelal Svecla, has stated that he is not against the Serbian people, but against Serbia's chauvinist projects and criminals.
"Now you have the biggest criminals who are the biggest patriots. We have to stop it. We need the attention of ordinary citizens, attention to normal life, to support such categories and to fight against these other categories" , said Sveçla.
In a recent interview, he claimed that he is in contact with Serbian citizens, NGOs and officials at various levels, but these meetings have not been made public. Sweden has emphasized the rule of law, respect for institutions and the fight against the fascist militia.
Asked about his attitude regarding his former activities where he used violence against EULEX and Kosovo institutions with tear gas and protesters in the north, Sveçla stated that there is a big difference between the intentional organization of resistance violent and resistance.
He claims that he has repaid the debt to the court, where the charges for hooliganism and violence against him and the members of Vetëvendosje expired a while ago. According to him, what has worked for him in the past are his legitimate beliefs and concerns, which were not directed against the people.
