The long-awaited meeting between acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the leader of the Social Democratic Initiative, Fatmir Limaj, was held this afternoon (Saturday) in the Pejton neighborhood, near the NISMA headquarters.
Details are still unknown as to whether any agreement has been reached to resolve the political crisis.
Meanwhile, the media is reporting different versions about the topics discussed between Kurti and Limaj.
One of the versions is that Kurti and Limaj have discussed the possibility of NISMA leading with two ministries, that of Infrastructure and Education. Another version is that both entities have continued to stand in the positions they have had and that talks between them will continue in the future to reach an agreement, reports "Telegrafi".
"Telegrafi" has attempted to contact LVV and NISMA officials to obtain details from the meeting, but they have not responded.
The 30-day deadline for the constitution of the Assembly, set by the Constitutional Court, ends on July 26
We recall that NISMA continues to insist on the position of Speaker of Parliament, as stated by MP Xhevahire Izmaku, who emphasized that Limaj at the head of the Parliament is "the best opportunity for the country."
Meanwhile, LVV has not announced whether it will be able to change Albulena Haxhiu's name.
