Tragic in Malishevë, the young man shoots his friend to death

A person was shot dead this morning in the village of Banjë in Malisheva. The victim is suspected to have been shot dead by his friend, due to a dispute.

The news was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Kosovo Police for the Gjakova Region, Sheremet Elezaj, who said that the death of the victim was confirmed at the scene. According to Elezaj, the murder suspect has been handed over to the police station.

"Around 07:15 it was reported that in the village of Banjë-Malishevë, an adult male victim was found without signs of life, it is suspected that he was shot with a firearm. The medical team that went to the scene of the incident confirmed his death. A person, also an adult male, has surrendered to the Police Station in Malishevë and from the first investigations it is suspected that the same person, for reasons still unknown, shot the victim with a firearm. The necessary police units have come to the scene and the state prosecutor has been notified, in coordination with which the necessary investigative actions are being undertaken," announced Elezaj.
