
One person was killed and three others were injured in a bar in the village of Runik in Skenderaj as a result of gunfire.
According to the police, in the initial investigations, four people were injured by the firearm, one of the injured, victim NL, 39 years old, died at the scene, while three other people also injured by the firearm were sent for medical treatment in University Clinical Center of Kosovo.
"From the first investigations and inspection of the scene, it is suspected that two masked suspects entered the bar, fired a gun and left in an unknown direction. As material evidence, several cartridges were found and confiscated at the scene," the announcement states.
Also, the police have informed that all the police actions taken were led by the prosecutor of the case who went to the scene, while the same one authorized the dead body of the victim to be sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine.
"Investigators of the Regional Sector are working intensively to identify and arrest the perpetrator(s) of the crime as well as clarifying this criminal offense".
Within this month alone, three people have been killed in Kosovo by gunfire.
Three days ago, one person was killed in Klina, while on August 5, after physical clashes and gunshots, one person was killed and 17 others were injured in the "Bon Vivant" bar in Pristina.
And one of the suspects involved in the incident is said to be wanted by the FBI.
Dukagjin Nikolaj, known by the nickname "Duke", is also wanted by the FBI for drug trafficking.
