Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, said that the killer of the policeman has been executed.
"Police officers killed the killer of the policeman in Loznica", said Dacic.
Faton Hajrizi is suspected of killing the police officer Nikola Krsmanovic and wounding the other officer Vjekoslav Ilic last night in Lloznica.
The shooting happened when the police stopped a vehicle with Turkish license plates during a routine check. A Kosovo passport and a German identity card in the name of Artan Hajrizi were found in the country.
The Minister of Internal Affairs stated a few hours before the execution that the information about Artan Hajrizi's statement that his brother took the documents from him is false, because if his brother had already come to Germany, why would he return to Preševo.

According to "Blic" information, Faton Hajrizi tried to cross the Drina river and escape to Bosnia-Herzegovina, but did not succeed, so he hid in an abandoned factory complex, "where migrants have been hiding for years" waiting for a "connection" "to escape beyond the Drina.
Faton Hajrizi shot again at the police, for which he was killed.
This morning, the Serbian police announced the search for Faton Hajriz as the main suspect for the murder of a Serbian policeman and the wounding of another in Loznica, Serbia.
The Serbian media, close to the government, reported that immediately after the crime, the suspect fled to Bosnia and Herzegovina, after crossing the Drina river.
