International Relations expert, Sadri Ramabaja, has stated that Serbia has not been properly punished for the 4 wars fought in the Balkans, in the space of former Yugoslavia.
Ramabaja made the comments in Euronews Albania, where he said that the closer the EU brings Serbia to itself, treating it as a normal state, the higher the chances are that it will undertake a military adventure in Kosovo, the same as that of Russia in Ukraine.
Also, Ramabaja said that the presence of KFOR in today's military exercise of Serbia was not only support for raising the morale of the members of the Armed Forces, but also a message that Kosovo must be prevented at all costs to join the KiE.
"Serbia not properly punished, because it should have been severely punished for the 4 wars fought in the Balkans, in the area of former Yugoslavia, similar to Nazi Germany. But instead of being divided into NATO care areas, to be conquered from the inside, it has been left free.
After the end of the war, after the agreement of Kumanova, on June 9, 1999, the agreements with KFOR followed, the area of flight, then of the approach of the army, was reduced, then it was allowed to build 48 military bases around Kosovo. So the preconditions have been created for illusions about the possibility of returning to Kosovo to feed not only the soldiers, but also the citizens.
Meanwhile, with this parade of strength today, it sends a clear message to Western diplomacy that the closer the Republic of Kosovo is to the Euro-Atlantic institutions, treating it as a genuine Republic, the closer we are to the risk of an adventurous enterprise of the type of Serbia , which is no different from what Russia did in Ukraine.
The invitation given to KFOR there is not only support for the morale of the Serbian army, but also to give the message that Kosovo should be prevented at any cost from joining the Council of Europe", said Ramabaja.
