The Spanish media continues to report on the manner of death of 27-year-old Argentine Maria Clara Urdangaray, who was allegedly killed by her Kosovar partner last week in Fushë Kosovë.
The girl was on vacation in Kosovo with her partner when she died after falling from the sixth floor of a hotel.
It was initially reported as a fall from the balcony, but later it turned out to be something else entirely. On Friday, the Kosovo police arrested the victim's partner, Endrit Nika, a 31-year-old Kosovar with Swiss documents.
The whole event happened in the early hours of last Tuesday in a building in Fushë Kosovë, where María Clara shared a room with Endrit Nika.
It is suspected that there was an argument between them before the young woman fell.
Although María Clara was quickly transferred to the Clinical Center of the University of Kosovo, she did not survive due to the severe injuries left by the fall.
"It's a femicide"
Both the victim's mother and father found out what happened when a friend of María Clara's who lives in Spain saw the news on social media and told them. That same day, her parents reported that the boy she lived with had killed her.
"My daughter had spoken to her mum and described her boyfriend as very jealous." said Facundo Urdangaray, María Clara's father.
Who was Endrit Nika?

"After four months of dating, the couple traveled together to Kosovo, where the arrested's brother was going to get married. It is learned that the young man had illegally brought his girlfriend into Kosovo, hiding her in his luggage", according to Swiss media reports.
