Kosovo is holding early parliamentary elections today, with the last elections being held just 9 months ago.
Bedri Elezi, Director of the Institute for Security, in an online link on "News24 Weekend", commented on the level of security in these elections and the way the voting process is taking place.
He has denounced that Serbian citizens in Serb-majority municipalities are being pressured by official Belgrade, through propaganda, pressure and blackmail, so that the Serbian List can take more seats in Parliament.
"So far, there are no reports of any problems, except in municipalities with a Serb majority, where there are reports of pressure against Serbian citizens, who through blackmail and threats demand voting for this political entity. There is an official commitment from Belgrade to pressure Serbian citizens, especially on "Telegram" where it is seen that various means of propaganda are directed against Serbian citizens. There is a direct commitment from Serbia for the Serbian List to take seats in the Assembly.
"A large number of Serbs with dual citizenship have come to Kosovo to vote. A large number of Serbs have visited their families in Kosovo, telling them who to vote for. There are also citizens connected to the Serbian Security Structures who are informing them of the consequences if they do not vote for the Serbian List," said Elezi.
