Renowned Turkish actor Burak Çelik has faced an unexpected legal situation, which forced him to interrupt his family vacation in Antalya and immediately return to Istanbul.
According to Turkish media, a restraining order was issued against the actor, which he was notified of in the early hours of the morning. At that time, Çelik was in Antalya with his wife, Ece Bayrak, who is seven months pregnant.
After receiving the notification, the couple immediately left for Istanbul. Due to Ece Bayrak's pregnancy, special care was taken for her health during the trip.
Upon arriving in Istanbul, Burak Çelik first met with his lawyer to discuss the legal procedures. Then, accompanied by his legal representative, he appeared at the Gendarmerie General Command, where he gave his statement to the authorities.
The checks lasted for several hours and, after the procedures were completed, the actor was released during the evening, returning to his family.
No details have been released about the reason for the detention order or the nature of the investigation. Burak Çelik himself has not publicly commented on the incident.
The actor, of Albanian origin, is expected to return to the screen in the new television season with the series "Haysiyet", following the praise he received for his role in "Yeraltı".
