The Central Election Commission (CEC) announced that the voting process in the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Kosovo is taking place normally in all planned missions abroad.
At the second press conference, CEC spokesperson Valmir Elezi announced that with the opening of polling stations in the United States and Canada, the voting process is now active in all diplomatic missions of Kosovo.
" With the start of voting in diplomatic missions in the United States of America and Canada, at 1:00 PM local time in Kosovo, we inform you that the voting process is now continuing in all diplomatic missions of the Republic of Kosovo ," said Elezi.
According to data presented by the CEC, as of 1:00 p.m., 10,804 citizens out of a total of 27,724 voters registered in 26 diplomatic missions had voted.
This represents a turnout of 38.97 percent of the electorate registered to vote abroad.
The CEC is expected to publish new data on the progress of the process in the coming hours.
