Country singer Brantley Gilbert abruptly cut short a concert in Mississippi after his wife gave birth to their third child on the tour bus.
The show had just started when Gilbert stormed off the stage, leaving fans stunned. But thankfully the reason was more than good, their little boy arrived ahead of expectations.
A day after the event, Gilbert made a post summarizing all the experiences of a day that was extraordinary for him, between fans and expecting a child.
“Last night may have been the craziest night of my life. Everything happened suddenly and there was not enough time to get Amber to the hospital.
Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I will never forget.
Thank you all for the help, thank you Mississippi for the love and crazy support. And above all... Amber Gilbert, who managed to show exactly how strong a woman can be," said the singer.
Also, the artist shared a video on social networks, where he is seen leaving the stage and running towards the bus where his wife was waiting for him lying on a couch.
The first phone call Gilbert made was to his mother, informing him of the sweet reception.
The American singer has started a tour since October 7 and is expected to end in April. The next performance is scheduled for October 17 in Savannah, Georgia.
