An insight into the interesting and unusual life of billionaire and multi-company owner Elon Musk is provided by a new biography by American writer Walter Isaacson.
Talking about his personal life, the rich man revealed the details of the stormy relationship between him and Amber Heard.
He began dating the actress in April 2017, following her split from Johnny Depp, which resulted in a major court battle.
Elon and Amber were in a relationship until 2018, after which he began a relationship with musician Grimes, with whom he has three children.
Isaacson claims that in that relationship, Musk was pulled 'into a dark vortex': "It lasted for over a year and produced deep pain that continues to this day."
The writer added that the billionaire's brother and friends hated the actress and described that period of Elon's life as "hell".
We remember that Musk fell in love with Amber during her divorce from Depp. Their relationship quickly ended due to busy schedules, then they reconciled, but even then it didn't work out and they broke up again.
Elon then admitted in an interview to Rolling Stone magazine that he had been very much in love with her:
"I just broke up with my girlfriend. I was so in love and now I'm so hurt. I think she broke up with me more than I broke up with her. I was very depressed and I had to try not to look like that," Musk said.
