Venice will be "paralyzed" for three days and at the disposal of groom Jeff Bezos and bride (second) Lauren Sanchez.
Not only the arrival on a $500 million yacht, but every detail was planned to make the wedding a pleasant stay for all the guests, around 250 new guests each day and of course for the couple.
The dates have already been set: it starts on June 24 and ends on the 26th. The event is being handled by the renowned London agency Lanza & Baucina, which took care of the wedding of the daughter of Indian tycoon Agarwal in 2011, which was attended by 800 guests and Shakira on stage.
One of the three richest people in the world, the founder of Amazon, owner of the Washington Post and Metro Goldwyn Mayer, with 1.5 million employees and a net worth of $215 billion, has arranged everything, or almost everything. Five hotels have been booked to accommodate the wedding guests.
Those who choose those three days at the end of June to visit Venice may have difficulty getting around. The entire fleet of taxis is reserved for the wedding day, to allow all guests to move around without encountering delays or problems.
