A serious incident occurred yesterday evening. Journalist Elton Tozaj was raped at around 7:30 PM, on the Tirana-Durres highway, under circumstances that are still unclear.
According to information made public by his family, the journalist was barbarically attacked by several people, who, according to them, have now been identified.
The violence inflicted on Tozaj was severe, causing serious physical injuries. The family has announced that Elton Tozaj is currently in a serious health condition and is receiving intensive medical treatment. According to them, the situation is delicate, as the journalist is fighting not to lose his sight, which makes this event even more alarming.
The family members express shock at what happened and demand that the perpetrators be brought to justice as soon as possible.
Recall that Tozaj has recently made some unexpected statements. One of them was that Luana Vjollca was "obsessed" with her former partner Krenar Çoçaj and that she was following him and his current partner, Endi Demner. He mentioned several alleged cases, such as: a flight to Milan where, according to him, the moderator was on the same plane with the couple; the proximity of her location during the summer holidays in Saint-Tropez, in the same city where her former partner was.
Moderator Luana Vjollca has decided to officially sue the journalist, as his accusations and insinuations are considered by her side as untrue, insulting and a serious violation of the public figure.
