Standing alone in the Reflection Room has brought strong reactions from Rogerti.
During a conversation in the Confession Room, the resident appeared physically and emotionally exhausted, describing the experience as too much to bear.
He emphasized that complete isolation does not serve reflection at all and that on the contrary, it leads the individual towards a dangerous confrontation with himself. According to Rogerti, staying alone for a long time in that environment is more of a punishment than a method of education.
The resident said he would choose silence as a way to cope with the situation, comparing the experience to a form of imprisonment. He added that the lack of human contact is the most difficult element of this ordeal:
"My body hurts, but it's okay. I'll shut up and stay like in prison. Come on, make the prison with at least 2-3 people, but not alone. Only here you are being unreasonable, you are playing with your mind. You are on your own, Big Brother.
You are totally with yourself. If you think that this room makes me reflect, then you have not known me at all, that's all. I reflect for the better, it's not even a joke, because it's normal to have to stop a little, but in the end I say things that are taboo, that Albanians don't say but only filter and keep in their brains.
"I know I will die without understanding what life is, if you have to do it to understand it, it is a great achievement," said Rogerti, who saw the reflection room as a punishment for him, a kind of prison and not at all as a room where he could calm down.
