Monika Krymeadhi reveals how she received the invitation to be an op-ed at BBVA:
Monika Kryemadhi

Monika Kryemadhi spoke about her experience as a columnist at BBVA.

She said that at first when she received the proposal she thought it was a joke, adding that 'the invitation was full of lights, like a paradise.' She further stated that her friends and family had told her to accept the invitation 'to see a different Monica'.

Kryemadhi praised the environment during the show, adding that he had not expected the positivity he was surrounded by on stage.

"Only 'make-up' that I'm really tired of, to remove it. Here I combed my hair myself. When the proposal came, I thought he was joking, I said, 'go away, don't make fun of me'. They had asked me for 'Goca dhe Gra' and I said 'I'm not coming'. Later they came and met me, it was definitely a bit of a 'shock', a man with a barge on his back, while in some dilemmas of a crossroads. I got a proposal, the transition from a dark political scene to a scene with lots of lights, like a paradise. I thought it was a test. In fact, it was a real reality, it was an opportunity for me. Everyone told me 'you definitely have to go because people need to see a different Monika'. The environment in which Ledioni and Arbri create for me is extraordinary. I didn't think about the positivity they have created. The respect they give me has been lacking my whole life, my colleagues in politics have not given me any respect. In politics, they haven't even told me "Thank you," she said.
