
Fans of Rita Ora are currently calling for a refund from the pop star after they expressed concerns over the authenticity of 'signed' copies of her latest album, which are being sold online for up to £25 (€29). .
"Daily Mail" writes that Ora's fans have noticed differences between the handwriting inscribed on the covers sold online and those signed by the famous singer herself at the album signing event.
One wrote on social media: “The handwriting and signature look very different from my plaque I had on a signed CD. Please explain yourself".
Another X user (ex-Twitter) responded with an e-mail from the record store through which they purchased the album, Banquet Records.
In the e-mail, the company says: “We wanted to assure you that we have spoken to Rita's team who were with her on the day and they have confirmed that she has signed the albums and has also released a video of herself making them in Time".
In a bid to promote her latest album, You & I, released on July 14, Ora has been on tour in the UK signing copies for die-hard fans, visiting five cities in one day, including Liverpool.
