The
Ex-Princess Mako of Akishino in Japan, who abdicated the royal throne, has been seen shopping at an Amish market as she adjusts to 'normal' life.
The 31-year-old, who renounced her royal status when she married Kei Komuro, has been spotted wearing "casual" clothes in New York.
She was seen wearing a pair of baggy jeans, a black shirt and a pair of sneakers, while she accessorized with a bag and face mask.

Her appearance comes after her husband passed the bar exam on the third try, defying critics of their romance.
The couple have kept a low profile as they live in a luxury one-bedroom apartment in the city and are believed to be financially independent.
The former princess was entitled to a $1.3 million payment from the Japanese government after giving up her noble status, but she refused.
Komuro met Mako in 2013 when they were both studying at the International Christian University outside Tokyo.
