Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ended months of speculation by confirming their engagement with a romantic moment in a rose garden.
But while the couple's intimate photos made the rounds of the world, all attention was focused on the giant engagement ring that the famous singer was wearing.
According to Page Six, it is an “Old Mine cut” diamond from Artifex Fine Jewelry, a rare cut that dates back to the 18th and 19th centuries. Diamonds of this type are known for their cushion-like shape, rounded corners and unique light reflection. Each stone is hand-cut, making each one unique.
The ring was co-designed by Kindred Lubeck and Travis Kelce himself, making it an even more personal gift. Lubeck's regular versions start at $4,300, while the more elaborate designs with 5-carat diamonds go for up to $38,000. But Taylor's case is completely different.
Experts say her ring is a personalized, unique piece, with a diamond set in a "bezel setting" style, a gold surround that holds the main stone, and is currently one of the most sought-after trends in the jewelry world.
The price? Initial reports put it at between $750,000 and $1 million. But according to George Khalife, known as George the Jeweler and one of Hollywood's most famous jewelers, the figure could be even higher. He believes Taylor Swift's diamond could be between 10 and 20 carats, raising its value to a staggering $1 million to $5 million.
"The whole look of the ring is antique, elegant and suits Taylor perfectly. This style is not only beautiful, but also timeless," Khalife said.
Taylor Swift's engagement ring is expected to become one of the most famous in the world, marking not only a special moment in her life, but also a new icon in the world of fashion and jewelry.
