An unexpected event happened to Jennifer Lopez, in one of the most luxurious shopping malls in Istanbul. The famous singer was refused entry by the staff of the Chanel store, in the Istinye Park shopping mall, after the security did not recognize her. According to Turkish media, JLo was walking in the mall together with her security team when she tried to enter the Chanel boutique. However, a guard told her that the store was full and that she could not enter. The singer reacted calmly and sportsmanlikely, simply saying: "Okay, no problem," before leaving for other stores.
After the incident, Jennifer headed to Celine and Beymen stores, where she spent over three hours shopping. Reports indicate that she spent thousands of dollars on designer clothing and accessories, seemingly unaffected by the incident at the Chanel store. Wearing a pink sports suit and oversized retro-style glasses, JLo was photographed by paparazzi as she entered the stores, surrounded by her bodyguard.
Chanel sources told Turkish media that the staff later realized that it was a world star and tried to invite her back to the store, but Jennifer refused the invitation.
Jennifer is currently in the midst of her "Up All Night Live 2025" music tour, where she has performed in several cities. On Instagram, she shared some moments from her concert in Istanbul, writing: "ISTANBUL! You were a fantastic audience."
