A truck driver transporting clothing brand SKIMS , owned by Kim Kardashian , has been sentenced by British justice to 13 and a half years in prison after being caught with a large amount of cocaine hidden in the cargo.
According to foreign media, Jakub Jan Konkel, 40, was arrested in September 2025 by customs authorities in Harwich , after arriving by ferry from Hook of Holland.
His truck was transporting 28 pallets of SKIMS clothing and underwear , but during an X-ray scan , authorities discovered a hidden compartment in the trailer containing 90 packages of cocaine , each containing one kilogram of the narcotic.
British authorities say the cargo was legitimate and there is no evidence that the exporting or importing company was involved in drug trafficking. However, the drugs were sophisticatedly hidden in the structure of the truck.
The defendant initially denied knowledge of the illegal cargo, but later pleaded guilty, stating that he had accepted the transport in exchange for a payment of around 4,500 euros .
Chelmsford Crown Court found him guilty and sentenced him to 13 and a half years in prison for drug trafficking.
