Kim Scott is back in the spotlight after a new arrest in Michigan , related to drunk driving.
According to American media, the 50-year-old was detained by authorities and taken to the Macomb County Jail in Mt. Clemens, just three days after appearing in court on similar charges.
Detective Joseph Feld of the Chesterfield Township Police Department told TMZ that Kim Scott allegedly crashed into another vehicle near Detroit while under the influence of alcohol.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, and she was later released by authorities.
Just days earlier, Kim had pleaded guilty to another DUI charge, as well as failing to report an accident that occurred in February. According to investigators, she allegedly crashed into a parked car while taking her teenage son, Parker, and his friends shopping.
Trouble with the law is nothing new for Eminem 's ex-partner . Over the past few years, she has been arrested several times for issues related to substance abuse, driving under the influence of alcohol, and other traffic violations.
Kim Scott and Eminem first married in 1999 and divorced in 2001. They reunited again in 2006 , but the second marriage only lasted a few months, as the rapper filed for divorce shortly after.
