Wiz Khalifa will face drug possession charges after using marijuana during his Beach Please performance on Saturday night.
"Prosecutors of the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism - Territorial Service of Constanta, ordered the initiation of criminal proceedings against a defendant (American citizen), investigated for the illegal possession of drugs", it was said in a press release.
"During a music festival, [Khalifa] was in possession of over 18 grams of cannabis (the drug) and consumed (on stage) another amount of cannabis in the form of a cigarette," it added.
The ten-time Grammy nominee was questioned on Sunday morning.
Although Khalifa was charged, he was released from custody.
