From the war in Kosovo to bullying, Shëndrit tells his life story: A

On last night's "Prime" of Big Brother VIP Albania, Shëndrit shared his life story with the public, bringing a strong and emotional story that touched the audience.

Amid difficult childhood memories and numerous challenges, he recounted his journey from dark periods to building himself, emphasizing that the past has not prevented him from achieving his goals and in his life.

After this confession, he was surprised by his closest people, his mother, sister, and niece, adding to the emotions of the moment.

During the story, Shëndrit also focused on his experiences during the war, remembering the moment when his family was forced to leave their home due to Serbian forces and take refuge for a period in Kavajë.

He also spoke about his difficult experiences at school, where he said he faced bullying since the fifth grade, as well as severe episodes of psychological violence from peers, which have left deep marks on his life.

In his story, he touched on another difficult chapter, claiming that during high school he experienced inappropriate harassment by a teacher, an experience that, according to him, was accompanied by fear and insecurity for a long time.

Shëndrit also shared the most beautiful moments of his life, mentioning entering television as a turning point, as well as the emotion of becoming an uncle.

After showing his life line, he was surprised by his mother, sister, and niece.

"I have a very close relationship with my brother and sister. The moment we realized that the Serbian invaders were coming to our house, my grandfather told us: "You have to leave home and take the road to Albania." We took the road to Kavaja, where we stayed with a family for two months. My grandmother said: "They won't burn my house without killing me." And my father said: "We won't burn it because you will die of boredom for the people."

The dark days for me began in the fifth grade, because they stopped giving me the sunlight I used to get every day. The bullying started in the fifth grade. As a birthday present, some classmates locked me in the neighborhood garage and put a dog inside. Later, they put me in a garbage can. They closed the lid on me and the three of them sat on it. I kept this wound quiet. At that age, I tried to think bad thoughts about myself. I don't know why I cursed myself and said why I didn't have the strength to face them.

In high school, the sexual harassment by professors begins. He is no longer alive. In the first year of high school, he tells me: “Get out.” I go out and for no reason he tells me: “Get out of the classroom.” I leave the classroom and go to the toilet. He comes after me, undresses and shows me his genitals. I meet him four days later, he comes up to me and says: “Don’t tell anyone what you saw. Get on with your life because we are men.” During the transition from school, he stalked me. I was afraid of every corridor, every corner. If I were in front of him today, I would say: “You tried to take my childhood, but you didn’t succeed. I am Shëndrit Lumi and I was born to shine.”

"The most beautiful moment for me was when I entered TV, and my friend Saranda is to blame for that. Another moment was when my sister gave me the title of uncle. There are weak points in life. This is a success story for me," he said.
