Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman is back in the limelight, this time for her personal life. According to international media reports, American businessman Paul Salem has expressed interest in dating the actress, following her split from country singer Keith Urban.
Sources tell TMZ that Salem has made it clear to his close friends that he is interested in getting to know Kidman better. The pair know each other through mutual social circles and have been seen out in public twice, however, according to sources, they have not spent any time together privately and are not currently in a relationship.
It is said that the actress remains single and is not dating anyone at this time.
Who is Paul Salem?
Paul Salem is a well-known name in the American business world. He is the chairman of the board of MGM Resorts International, a company he joined in 2018 and took over in 2020. For nearly three decades, he has held leadership positions at Providence Equity, a large investment firm worth about $50 billion. Salem is also a co-owner of the Worcester Red Sox baseball team.
Meanwhile, according to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban finalized their divorce last month. The agreement reached between them stipulates that both parties will waive any claims for financial support for the children and cover their personal expenses individually.
The assets have been divided so that each keeps what they currently own, while the former couple has definitively waived any claim for alimony against each other. Legal costs will be divided equally, concluding the process without a protracted court battle.
