"No one has all the answers," Prince William's important message

Prince William has publicly shared how he deals with mental health challenges, encouraging people to learn to accept and understand themselves. During a surprise appearance on BBC Radio 1's Breakfast Show on February 18, the 43-year-old took part in a panel discussion on male suicide.

Speaking with host Greg James and British rapper Professor Green, he highlighted the need for more male role models to speak out about mental health. He said normalising discussions about emotions is essential to helping those going through difficult times.

"You need to take time to understand your emotions and why you feel a certain way," he said, adding that even the most severe mental crises are temporary and with the right support can be overcome.

William shared that he uses a personal “toolbox” to cope with psychological difficulties. He emphasized that no one has all the answers and that throughout life we must constantly seek new tools – whether through conversations with trusted friends, professional help, or personal reflection.

His commitment to suicide prevention is also linked to his experience as an air ambulance pilot, where he faced tragic consequences for the families affected. He remains an active supporter of organizations that provide assistance to people in crisis and continues to use his voice to raise awareness about the importance of communication and support in the most difficult moments.
