Rapper Arkimed Lushaj, known as Stresi, has announced his candidacy for the National Council of the Democratic Party, marking a new commitment to the country's political life.
The artist himself made the news public through a message on social media, where he described this step as a responsibility towards young people and an attempt to represent a generation that, according to him, has often felt unrepresented in decision-making processes.
Stresi emphasized that his candidacy should not be seen simply as a political commitment, but as an opportunity to bring the concerns and aspirations of young Albanians closer to institutions.
"Today I have decided to take one more step for my country, for the youth, and for the voice of a generation that has often felt unrepresented," he wrote.
In his message, the rapper focused on his personal experience and the challenges that, according to him, young people in Albania face, emphasizing the need for their greater representation in politics.

My candidacy for the National Council of the Democratic Party is not simply politics, it is responsibility, representation and trust in Albanian youth.
I came from the streets, from real life, from the challenges that every young person knows well. That's why I want our voice to be heard where decisions are made.
There is no more time for silence, for departures, or for surrender. The time has come for youth to rise up, speak out, and take the place they deserve.
I invite every young person who believes in change, in new energy, and in an Albania that can become better, to join me on this journey.
"Because the future doesn't wait. And it is built by us , " said Stresi.
