Sean Diddy Combs has denied allegations that he was caught drinking alcohol while serving his sentence at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institute. His label, Bad Boy Records, has responded to the X, saying the rumors are false.
"Rumors claiming that Mr. Combs has been involved with alcohol are completely untrue. His sole focus is on becoming the best version of himself and returning to his family," the statement said.
Combs' team reacted after reports that P.Diddy was accused of consuming homemade alcoholic drinks laced with sugar, soda, and fermented apples.
Although a source told TMZ that the producer had been having problems with prison authorities, a prison insider said he had no information about the allegations.
Combs' rep also told Page Six that the artist is "focused on adjusting to the environment, working on himself and improving himself" after being transferred to the new prison late last month.
"Like any famous person entering a new environment, there will be many rumors and exaggerated stories circulating during his stay there; most of them untrue.
We ask that people give him the privacy to focus on personal growth with calm and purpose.”
Diddy, 56, had declared himself “clean for the first time in 25 years” before being sentenced to 4 years and 2 months in prison last month.
In a letter to Judge Arun Subramanian, he wrote:
“I am on a journey that has taken time and hard work. I am proud to say that I am working harder than ever before.
"I am committed to remaining a person free from drugs, violence and close to peace. I thank God that I am stronger, wiser, cleaner and sober. God makes no mistakes!"
As part of the sentence, Diddy was also ordered to participate in mental health and addiction rehabilitation programs, as well as pay a $500,000 fine.
He was initially arrested in New York in September 2024 and found guilty in July 2025 on a charge of "transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution."
At the time, the Revolt co-founder was being held without parole at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
Sean Diddy Combs is expected to be released from prison on May 8, 2028.
