According to the latest studies and forecasts published in international media, the summer of 2025 is expected to be among the hottest and driest in recent decades, due to climate change that continues to worsen atmospheric conditions around the world.
The International Institute for Climate Research and major meteorological agencies say that various regions will experience temperatures above historical averages, especially in the Northern Hemisphere. Europe and North America are expected to experience prolonged periods of drought, while Southeast Asia and North Africa will face intense heat waves.
Studies also warn of an increase in the frequency of storms and heavy rainfall in some tropical areas, as a result of global warming and changes in wind patterns and atmospheric pressure.
Climate experts emphasize the importance of emergency measures to adapt to these changes, including better management of water resources, improving infrastructure, and raising awareness among the population about the rational use of energy and water.
In Albania and the Balkan region, weather forecasts indicate that the summer of 2025 will be hot and dry, with risks of periods of fires and water shortages for agriculture and city supplies.
