Alyssa wasn't just a random person. She's part of the human resources staff at Astronomer and has held the role of senior HR director since January 2025. But her career growth has become even more noticeable recently: just a few days ago, she was named vice president of human resources — a position that puts her directly under the authority of Kristin Cabot, the protagonist of the scandal.
This fact has sparked even more reactions on social media, with many accusing Alyssa of being aware of the affair and covering it up with her silence.
"Promoted by Kristin herself, while she was there when it all happened. Ironic, or planned?" - writes one commenter. Others point out that the only one who was unaware of everything was Byron's wife, who immediately after the video removed his last name from social networks.
