France secured their place in the semi-finals of Euro 2024 on Friday 5 July after beating Portugal on penalties.
Cristiano Ronaldo's partner Georgina Rodriguez was in the stands at Hamburg's Volkspark stadium and didn't want to miss any of the matches played by the Portuguese national team during the tournament.
She did so from a VIP stand, wearing a tight floral dress and black knee-high boots. And, after the elimination, she wanted to share these encouraging words for the Portuguese team on her social networks.
"How many beautiful emotions we have experienced in this European. Thank you forever Portugal", wrote the model on her official Instagram account.
Apparently, this gesture was not well received by some of the followers of the famous model. Many people don't understand how she can make a post posing right after her partner's team has been eliminated from the competition.
"He lost and you're posting???" , "Ronaldo is sad and you post?", or: "No offense, but sorry, how can you post something when he lost?" are some of the comments that can be read on the post.
