For several hours, some of the main portals and websites in Albania have been out of service and cannot be accessed by users. According to reports, the problem is related to an outage in the 'Cloudflare' service, a platform that provides protection, speed and stability for websites. Cloudflare is used in particular to protect against attacks that aim to overload servers to take them out of service.
As a result of its downfall, some online media, applications, and e-commerce sites do not open, displaying 'Error' messages whenever users attempt to access the links.
"Cloudflare is aware of and investigating an issue that potentially affects multiple customers," is the update written by the company.
However, bad weather and flooding further hinder work to improve the situation.
