Footage from the incident that occurred earlier at the "ONIMA" music house has been released, showing singer Gjesti entering the studio with a gun in his hand.
In the videos first published by "Sinjali", the moment is seen when Gjesti enters the company's premises and causes significant damage.
On March 12 of this year, it was reported that Besart Kelmendi, known to the public as Gjesti, was detained by the Kosovo Police in Pristina for illegal possession of weapons.
According to information published at the time, the rapper was escorted to the police and placed in custody for 48 hours, while the Kosovo Prosecution Office initiated procedures to verify the circumstances of the case and evaluate the evidence.
It was suspected that the singer had gone armed to the premises of the music company "Onima", owned by Erkand Shabani. It was reported that there had been a previous dispute between the parties, while the latest incident was suspected to be related to the escalation of the conflict.
It was reported that the clash centered on a contract that Gjesti had signed with the company "Onima" before his participation in the show "Big Brother VIP Albania". After the end of his experience on the reality show, he had requested the termination of the contract, which had created tensions between the artist and the company.
Under criminal legislation in Kosovo, unauthorized possession or carrying of weapons can be punished with a fine of up to 7,500 euros or imprisonment of up to five years.
However, legal experts point out that in cases where the weapon was not used to commit another criminal offense, courts often apply lighter measures, such as fines or suspended sentences, depending on the specific circumstances of the case.
