Democrats in the United States of America have found the culprit of losing the 2024 presidential election. They have blamed the famous Hollywood actor, George Clooney, as he was the one who asked Joe Biden to withdraw from the race.
After Republican Donald Trump won over rival Kamala Harris, lifelong Democrat George Clooney was criticized for his influence during the election.
In July of this year, the "Ocean's Eleven" actor wrote specifically for the "New York Times" and called on the 81-year-old to abandon his presidential campaign.
"We will not win in November with this president", wrote the 63-year-old.
Clooney later praised Biden for his "selflessness" when he announced he would retire on July 21.
Meanwhile, after Donald Trump's big win, a veteran-led political commentary group called altNOAA wrote on "X": "Someone bring me George Clooney. We need to have a... conversation".
Journalist Joshua Hartley posted a screenshot of Clooney's article and added: "Thank you George Clooney."
One "X" user wrote: "Trump should not forget to thank Hollywood celebrities. Especially George Clooney."
A Donald Trump fan also referenced the actor and wrote: "Just remembered, we still haven't accepted George Clooney's role in this win."
"Since I'm in a deep depression and feel like attacking someone, how are we going to do it now George Clooney?" wrote one social media user, while another simply added: "It's all George Clooney's fault."
