Los Angeles police have launched an investigation into a new sexual harassment complaint against rapper and producer Diddy (Sean Combs), filed by an anonymous music producer from Florida.
The lawsuit alleges that the incident occurred during a photo shoot in Los Angeles in 2020, where, according to the producer, Diddy allegedly began masturbating, then exposed his genitals and asked the producer to “help.” The producer claims he did not react, while the rapper continued the act and then threw his shirt away.
Los Angeles authorities received an official copy of the report from the Florida Department of Justice on November 14 and have announced that they will continue their investigation into the complaint.
In his response, Combs' attorney, Jonathan Davis, said:
“As Mr. Combs’ legal team has reiterated for over a year, we cannot respond to every unfounded accusation in what has become a media circus. To be absolutely clear, Mr. Combs categorically denies as false and defamatory all allegations of sexual assault. He expects to be vindicated in court, where such issues are decided on admissible and substantial evidence.”
This new lawsuit comes months after Diddy was sentenced on October 3, 2025, to 50 months in prison and a $500,000 fine for two counts of transporting women for the purpose of prostitution. He is scheduled to be released on May 8, 2028, including time he has already served in custody at the Fort Dix Federal Detention Center in New Jersey.
Judge Arun Subramanian fined the rapper the maximum amount and ordered him to serve five years of supervised release after sentencing. The decision came after a New York jury found him guilty on July 2, 2025.
According to procedures, Combs could receive a reduced sentence if he shows good behavior and completes drug and anger management programs, even before the official start of appeal hearings.
This new lawsuit brings attention back to Diddy's figure, raising questions about his behavior and impact on the music industry and the public.
