American singer D4vd has pleaded not guilty to serious charges of murdering a 14-year-old girl, a case that has shocked public opinion in the United States.

The artist, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has appeared for the first time in Los Angeles court, where his lawyers have officially declared his innocence on his behalf.

The victim, Celeste Rivas Hernandez, was reported missing in April 2025 after visiting the singer's home in the Hollywood Hills area. According to prosecutors, she was not seen alive after that night.

Later, in September of that same year, her decomposed remains were found in the front trunk of a Tesla vehicle, registered to Burke's address in Texas.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has filed three felony charges against him: murder under aggravating circumstances, murder for financial gain, and elimination of a witness.

According to investigators, the victim allegedly had information related to an investigation into inappropriate sexual behavior towards the artist, which may have influenced the motive for the crime.

The court file also contains gruesome details, including allegations of the dismemberment of the girl's body.

The 14-year-old's family has stated that they will pursue justice to the end and demand that her memory not be forgotten.

If found guilty, the singer faces a maximum sentence, including the death penalty.
