Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated his 1,200th professional game with a goal and an assist as he helped Al-Nassr to a 4-1 win over Al-Riyadh.

The former Real Madrid player moved closer to Peter Shilton, who tops the list of male players with the most official appearances.

The 38-year-old opened the scoring in the first half when he headed in a Sadio Mane cross. The Portuguese continues to be the league's top scorer with 16 goals in 16 games.

In the third extra minute of the first half, Ronaldo provided an assist on his compatriot Otavio's header.

The other two goals for Al Nassri were scored by Taliska in the second half of the match. Al-Nassri's team is in second place in the Saudi league standings with 37 points, behind Al-Hilal who have 44 points.
