Joshua Kimmich, the 29-year-old of Bayern Munich and the German national team, has put an end to dilemmas about his future. And while the player's contract with the Bundesliga giants expires this summer, Kimmich has decided to stay at Bayern Munich.
After the 1-0 victory in Gladbach, Kimmich said in an interview for Sky that "the possibility of me staying is significantly greater than in the summer, because I see how we play football. This also has a lot to do with the coach."
"All of Germany sees that we play football in a different way. It looks significantly better. It's fun in training and on the field," said the 29-year-old.
Kimmich says that "there are many, many good reasons for a contract extension. For me it is a fundamental decision. It's about where you can be most successful in the next three to four years."
