Armando Duka aims for 7th term at the head of the Albanian Football Association,

The Albanian Football Association (AFHA) has announced that the final list of candidates for the presidency of the AFHA and members of the Executive Committee who must be elected at the Ordinary Electoral Assembly on February 16 of this year has been approved.

And as expected, with the proposal of 33 members and without any opponent in the race, the president of the Albanian Football Association, Armand Duka, is the only candidate for this leadership position, making his confirmation for another mandate a fait accompli without waiting for the meeting of Albanian football representatives.

Meanwhile, in the race for the Executive Committee of the Albanian Football Association, there are 13 names on the list for 10 positions. Even there, Anila Basha is already known to be the winner, as she is the only woman in the race and as a result has an automatic presence, according to the statute of the Albanian Football Association. Meanwhile, among the novelties among the candidates is the presence of the former president of Teuta, Edmond Hasanbelli, as well as the icon of the Albanian National Team, Geri Çipi.

Also in the running are other well-known names, such as Armando Cungu and Erind Resuli, two of the most trusted names in the Albanian Football Association in recent years after having held positions in the management of youth or futsal teams.
