Maldini Kacurri will continue his career at Grimsby Town in League Two, which is otherwise the fourth tier of English football. "Football Insider" reports that Arsenal have accepted the offer, while medical tests and signing will follow.
This is a surprise move for the 20-year-old, as it is not a loan move. Grimsby are signing the Albanian international defender, who is expected to sign a contract until the summer of 2027.
His loan spell at Morecambe in the fifth tier was deemed a success. However, with Grimsby playing in the fourth tier, it was more likely that another loan would follow.
Born in London, Kacurri also made his debut for Arsenal's first team. The date of September 25, 2024 was historic, as Arsenal played a Cup match with Bolton. His debut for the national team came last September, when coach Silvinho preferred him for the friendly against Gibraltar.
