It has been almost two months (June 27, 2025) since the F1 movie (F1, “The Movie”) became a reality with its world premiere and the feeling that we are experiencing something unique and historic continues to be present, with the film having undoubtedly been a success.
It's not just the fame that surrounds him, the big names or the incredible budget. The F1 movie has made such a big splash that it is changing the career of the legendary Brad Pitt himself. A 4-decade career, with two "Oscar" awards, two "BAFTA" awards and two "Golden Globe" awards. But none of his films have achieved the financial success that "F1" has already achieved. Neither "Inglourious Basterds", nor "Seven" nor "Fight Club".
Recent studies show that the film has collected 545 million dollars at the global box office, an astronomical figure that surpasses even his biggest success so far, “World War Z”, which had 540 million. Josef Kosinski’s production has left its mark and makes Pitt even more important in an industry that adores him.
An extraordinary success that raises another question: will there be a sequel? Luis Hamilton, who is a key figure in the first film, said that for now we should enjoy what is in the cinema. The critical rating, so far, is very positive, while the IMDB portal, a reference in the film industry, has given it a score of 7.9.
