Bayer Leverkusen secured an important away win over Borussia Dortmund, in the 29th week of the German Bundesliga. The match held at the “Signal Iduna Park” stadium ended with the minimum score of 0-1.
The only goal of the match was scored by German midfielder Robert Andrisch in the 42nd minute. He scored with a precise shot from outside the area, giving his team the decisive advantage in a hard-fought and high-paced encounter.
With this victory, Leverkusen climbs to fifth place in the standings, reaching 52 points. On the other hand, Borussia Dortmund remains in second place with 64 points accumulated.
In other matches of the week, Leipzig achieved an important victory in the race for a place in the Champions League, thanks to a goal from Jan Diomande in the 81st minute. Meanwhile, Wolfsburg was defeated at home 1-2 by Eintracht Frankfurt, deepening its positions in the standings, where it currently holds 17th place with 21 points.
Heidenheim also achieved a valuable victory for survival, defeating Union Berlin 3-1. However, the team remains at the bottom of the table with 19 points, still maintaining lukewarm hopes of staying in the elite.
