Kosovo striker Vedat Muriqi has not yet made a final decision regarding his future with the Kosovo national team. In a recent interview, the 31-year-old revealed that the issue of his retirement remains open.
He stressed that the initial plan had been clear: participate in a World Championship and then withdraw from the national team. According to him, this idea was also discussed with the Federation leaders and technical staff.
However, Muriqi said that he does not want to focus on this decision at the moment. " I do not want to think about it now. I am focused on the remaining matches with my team. There will be time to decide later ," he declared.
During his career with Kosovo, Muriqi has played 68 matches and scored 32 goals, being one of the team's key players in recent years.
