Barcelona have recorded their 10th consecutive victory in La Liga, defeating Osasuna away with a score of 1-2, in a challenge that was decided only in the final minutes of the match.
The match in “Pamplona” was characterized by a slow pace and few clear chances until the 80th minute. However, in the last ten minutes, the game took a different turn, with three goals scored that changed the fate of the challenge.
The score was broken in the 81st minute, when Robert Lewandowski headed home a cross from Marcus Rashford. Just five minutes later, Ferran Torres doubled the lead, following an assist from Fermin Lopez.
Osasuna did not give up and in the 89th minute they narrowed the gap with Raul Garcia, who also scored with a header after a cross in the area. Despite efforts at the end, the home team could not avoid defeat.
With this victory, Barcelona leads the standings with 88 points and is very close to being declared champion. The fate of the title could be decided in the next match: if Real Madrid does not win against Espanyol, the Catalans are mathematically declared champions.
On the contrary, if the Madrid team gets the three points, Barcelona's celebration could be postponed to next week, at the "Camp Nou", in the long-awaited "El Clasico" match.
