Bayern Munich are Bundesliga champions. Leverkusen's 2-2 draw with Freiburg crowns the Bavarians, who are now celebrating their 33rd title.
Kompany's team's 3-3 draw with Leipzig this Saturday seems to have only postponed the celebration for a few hours.
As for the current championship standings, Bayern has accumulated 76 points, while Leverkusen has 68 points.
Thomas Müller has won his 13th Bundesliga title - a record for a player - and his last in the colours of his boyhood club, Bayern Munich.
Müller, who will end his 25-year association with Bayern this summer, has made 28 appearances and scored five goals in the 2024/25 season so far, as FCB reclaimed the title won by Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen last season.
The 35-year-old Müller is the most decorated footballer in Bundesliga history, ahead of teammate Manuel Neuer (12 titles) and former Bayern players David Alaba and Robert Lewandowski (both 10).

After joining Bayern at the age of 10, the Bavarian-born Müller lifted the first of his 13 Bundesliga titles in the 2009/10 season. Jürgen Klopp's Borussia Dortmund won the other two titles, before Bayern enjoyed an unprecedented 11-season reign as Bundesliga champions from 2012/13 to 2023/24. They finished third behind Leverkusen and VfB Stuttgart last season, only to restore the balance with two games remaining in the 2024/25 season.
Müller's pivotal role in Bayern's domestic triumph this season has taken his total Bundesliga appearances to a staggering 501, leaving the club speechless. He has registered 150 goals and 178 assists during that time, while winning the UEFA Champions League twice, six DFB Cups, two UEFA Super Cups and the FIFA Club World Cup, and eight German Super Cups - as well as the 2014 FIFA World Cup with Germany.
Müller will play his last Bundesliga match as a Bayern player when the newly-crowned champions take on Hoffenheim in matchday 34. He is expected to play in the FIFA Club World Cup, which takes place in the USA from June 14 to July 13, but his next career move remains to be seen.
Bayern have already confirmed that Müller's extraordinary contribution to the club will be honoured with a special match, among other things. As well as making history as Bayern's most decorated player, he will also leave as the Bavarian giants' record holder for most appearances (currently 749 official matches).
