Former Juventus and Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci has shared his plans for his career after he retires from playing, according to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio.
Bonucci said he intends to start working as a coach as soon as possible and is learning about this new role. He wants to lead a big club, but gradually, taking it step by step.
" My goal is to manage a big club, but I will do it with different responsibilities than those I had as a player ," he said.
He added that his dream is to one day coach Juventus or the Italian national team, two teams for which he has always had a special connection.
' I have always been a Juventus fan and it is my biggest aspiration ,' explained Bonucci, highlighting that he is currently enjoying working with the Italian U-20 team.
Bonucci retired from football last summer after a highly successful career, where he played over 500 games with Juventus.
During his career, he won nine Serie A titles and was part of the Italy squad that triumphed at EURO 2021.
