Earlier than usual due to the U-17 European Championship that will be held in our country, Albania a few days ago put the lid on the football season for clubs, giving all the verdicts. Meanwhile, Kosovo and Macedonia have determined their champions, Drita and Shkëndija, who also participate in the Champions League with Egnatia.
Partizani, Vllaznia and Dinamo will play in the Conference League. The most important ones are those for clubs that have qualified for UEFA competitions, where they have the opportunity to play tournaments and secure significant income to increase their ambitions. The draw, which is scheduled to be held on June 17, is a key element in the possibility of our teams to progress further.
Champions – Egnatia, for the second consecutive season, sees itself as a participant in the Champions League, after being declared champion of Albania again, dominating Albanian football. President Demrozi has publicly admitted that the goal is the Conference League groups, where it must be said that considering the quality of the team, everything is possible, but not easy. In the division of pots, Egnatia is ranked in the pot of non-favorites due to the low coefficient (2.500) and potential opponents have formidable names such as Ludogorets, Malmo, Zalgiris or KuPS.
Meanwhile, in the pot of potential rivals of Egnatia is also Drita, which has a coefficient of 9.000, which gives it a considerable advantage over potential rivals in the first round of the Champions League. In the pot of non-favorites, at the same time as a potential rival of Drita is Shkëndija e Tetovo, the Albanian team that was declared champion in North Macedonia. The potential rivals of the red and blacks are the same as Egnatia.

However, on paper, any opponent seems passable, especially given the fact that the blue team is maintaining its structure and is expected to keep all the prominent players in this Conference League campaign.
