"It will be a different challenge than the first one", Silvinjo: I

Silvinjo said that our team will play for victory and that the Andorran team is a difficult team. Further, the Brazilian coach emphasized that our team has been growing and that we are very close to qualifying for a "play-off".

Albania will face Andorra on Thursday, as part of the World Cup Qualifiers. For this match, which is very important for reaching the "Play Off", the Rossoneri coach, Silvinjo, appeared in a press conference.

If England and Albania win their respective matches, then the Rossoneri will secure the 2026 World Cup play-offs for the first time. Coach Silvinho spoke ahead of the historic transfer to Andorra. The Brazilian said in his speech at the press conference:

What do you expect from this match and will there be many changes from the match in Albania?

In fact, they are two different matches, due to the fact that the Andorra coach has been there for a long time and knows the team. He has a good defense and gets the most out of his players. Andorra concedes a maximum of 2 goals. Even in Tirana it was very difficult at the beginning. Even in the other matches, a 45-minute draw against Serbia. It is a difficult team to beat. They play for every ball and every inch of the field.

You have analyzed Andorra's matches. Will the fact that they play at home make a difference in the result? Do you believe that Albania can make it to the World Cup?

In fact, we are growing a lot as a Federation. When we grow, others grow too, seeing the qualifiers for the European Championship, now for the World Cup, the differences in football are becoming smaller and smaller, which is why football brings passion. When you play abroad it is more difficult than at home.

Play off? It's difficult. We are in a good situation that we haven't had before as an opportunity, as Albania. I hope it happens and we have a very good match tomorrow.

Can you tell us something about the preparation for this match, Albania attacking or controlling the opponent?

The team will be the same in terms of the spirit of the competition and the way it is built. The same as we started. There may be changes, one more striker, the construction of the team. But it depends on the opponent. This kind of obligation to win has started since the match with Latvia. We have created a balanced team, we concede little. We keep our composure and this gives us balance to go to the goal. Difficult match, but the same team spirit.

The injection you make into the players' brains for the easiest teams on paper. How much responsibility do you feel for injecting the right mentality into the players?

When we played Serbia, we had more days for training. It depends on how it goes. We didn't have to work much on the field, but we dealt with videos, with the players, eating. This way the message is spread. I see the players very motivated. We still have one training session. As for my responsibility, I always take it. The players know that they have to enter the field focused and give their maximum. We have to manage 90 very difficult minutes. He is a coach who knows his players very well, he gets the maximum. Very difficult match. Someone could say an easy opponent on paper, but it is very difficult.

You are the driver of our car, you have had a long journey. What gear will you be playing in tomorrow?

Tomorrow until lunchtime we will decide on the players who will enter the field. More than the game module, I focus on the characteristics of the players, where they can get the ball more easily, where there is space to make the opponent's play. This is the element we are focused on. There may be changes, but I do not think about the game module.

Given that Andorra defends well, could we see two wingers tomorrow who also play the role of number 10?

I'm not focused on the module. I want players who create space for their teammates. Andorra is different from Serbia. It's a team that doesn't concede many goals, it blocks the lines. The players know it because we've discussed this.

Some players don't get minutes and others don't score goals?

I have a clear idea of which players will come in and score goals. I'm not worried about the minutes, the strikers have come in very well physically. We have 4-5 players who have scored in these years of our journey together. I have a clear idea.
