The League Phase in the Conference League is coming to an end, with four matches played and two remaining.
Albanians in European club activities are represented by two teams, Drita e Gjilani and Shkëndija e Tetovo.
The last matches brought a derby between Albanian teams in Europe, from which Drita emerged victorious, which in 4 matches has managed to record 2 wins and 2 draws to currently rank 8th, which if it were the final ranking, would mean a safe place for qualification to the next stage.
Currently, the Drita team is one of 6 teams out of 24 participants in this stage of the League without a loss, along with Samsunspor, Strasbourg, Rakoun, AEK Larnaca and Jagiellonian.
In the remaining two matches, Drita will try to continue their surprise and try to realize their dream of advancing to the Conference League. However, the last two matches are a tough mountain for the team from Kosovo. On December 11, they will host AZ Alkmaar, a team undoubtedly with a lot of experience and much bigger than Drita in the European arena, while the last match on December 18, will be even more difficult, as they will have to travel to Spain to face Rayo Vallecano.
But until then, there is time and for now, Drita remains one of the 6 teams in the Conference League that has not tasted defeat.
