Albania has concluded a successful qualifying campaign for next year's World Cup, securing second place in the group. For the first time in history, the Rossoneri will play in the play-offs, where they will aim to reach the World Cup groups, and to do so, they must first overcome Poland, and then the winner of the Sweden-Ukraine match.

Adrian Bajrami is the most controversial name of recent times, since the defender who was regularly called up by Silvinjo, even playing in friendly matches, decided to leave to play with Switzerland. The fact that Bajrami did not play a single minute allowed him to change teams. Meanwhile, Enis Çokaj and Kristian Shpendi are two other players who have remained on the bench without getting minutes in these qualifiers and perhaps, to leave their mark. The most special case, of course, remains that of Medon Berisha. The Leça midfielder is shining in Serie A, being declared the best player of the month 3 times, but coach Silvinjo has not preferred him in these qualifiers. What makes it more interesting is the fact that the player was activated in the European Championship, being the big surprise on the list, while he was not preferred this time.
In the stands - During these qualifiers, there were other footballers who were gathered by Silvinjo, but they only played in friendly matches and in official matches, they ended up in the stands. The last ones were Maldini Kacurri, who came from Arsenal in the match against Gibraltar and Latvia. He played in the friendly, but with Latvia he stayed in the stands, not even having his name in the protocol. Nazmi Gripshi was in the same situation.
